Workplace Race Discrimination

Title VVI of the Civil Rights act of 1964 protects any individual from race discrimination in the workplace. This discrimination can be in hiring, firing, promotions, pay, job classification or harassment within your employer.

Workplace race discrimination also protects any person receiving unfair treatment due to marriage or association with someone of a different race, membership or association with ethnic-based organizations and attendance or participation in schools, places of worship, or other cultural practices generally associated with minority groups.
